LDBSA Championship Semi-Finals and Finals – 2025/26

At the most recent committee meeting, discussions took place regarding the low number of entries in some of this year’s Championships. The committee feels that any competitions with less than 16 entries does not warrant a referee or venue being arranged for the semi final stage. It was decided to arrange a referee and venue for the semi finals of the Senior Doubles due to the miss rule being in play at that stage of the championship.

The following Championships will not have referees at the semi-final stage, and dress code will not be required:

2nd Division Championship

The Rick Bean Snooker Team Handicap

The Darren Munnelly Junior Snooker Doubles

For these competitions, semi-final matches are to be arranged between the players. There will be no neutral venue, and the home player/team will be the one drawn out first.

Finals only for the above Championships will be played at a neutral venue with referees in attendance.

All other Championships for the 2025/26 season will have officials for both semi-finals and finals, with matches to be played at a venue chosen by the sponsor.
