Newark Belvedere are now top of the Spec & Fix Premier League by just one point, but the Moorlands side have an important match in hand. The Belvedere side met the Showboats and collected maximum points. Matt and Dave with two wins each and Captain Rob Hall won his three matches. Dave with a break of 45 in his 78-8 win over Bradley. Moorlands & Railway C were beaten 4-3 away at Lincoln Snooker Club B, which was only the third time they had lost. They play the Belvedere side in a fortnight. The Lincoln Snooker Club side raced into a three nil lead, Calum beat Jamie 2-0, with a break of 39 in his second frame, and Dave Norman, who was making his first appearance of the season beat Gav 50-18. Gav then earned his sides first point of the evening when he gained revenge beating Dave 57-10. Matt squared the match at 3-3, firstly beating Dave 58-19 and then he beat Chris 75-30 with a break of 39. The final frame saw Chris defeat Lee Applewhite on the black 58-53 to complete a very good win against the league leaders. .

There was big wins for Hykeham B and Castle Ward A both teams winning 6-0. Hykeham B played bottom side Moorlands & Railway A and collected maximum points. Michael continued his good form winning both of his frames firstly defeating Trev 58-28 and then in the fourth frame he beat Liam 58-49. Championship Secretary Darren played the second and fifth frames, in his first frame he beat Nathan 51-10 and then in his second he defeated Steve 65-30. Mark Handford played the two remaining frames with victories over Steve 48-22 and 57-21 against Nathan. Castle Ward were away to Lincoln Snooker Club E and they also collected maximum points, their second of the season. Aidie put the Ward one up when he defeated Tim Booth 65-23. Tim didn't fare any better in his second frame when he was beaten 55-16 by Castle Wards captain Rob. Tim Dunn then made it 3-0 when he defeated Phil 67-23. Adam played two successive frames firstly he beat Sam 48-31 and then he beat Phil 47-39. The final frame was won by Tim when he beat Sam on the black ball 60-53 to complete the victory. League Leaders Lincoln Snooker Club D have extended their lead at the top of the Lincoln Security league when they beat second placed Lincoln Snooker Club F 4-2. George was up first against Glenn and put his side one up with a48-24 win. Noddy then levelled the scores when he beat Adam 58-36 with the help of a 25 break. Glynn then put the F side in front when he beat Phil 58-24. The league leaders then took the remaining three frames when Stu won against Glynn 50-41 and then defeating Noddy 67-58. Justin took the final frame 50-22 against Steve. The Academy side have now drawn the last three frames and without a win on four and are still just four points behind the second placed team. Jacob put the Academy side one up when he defeated Steve 62-26 but lost his second frame to Dave 55-22. The Academy’s captain Daniel played two successive frames and won them both firstly beating Dan 63-11 and then followed that up with a 57-46 win against Gary. Rob and Jayden played the two remaining frames and Rob won then both to earn a share of the spoils. Rob won the first 60-25 and then 62-48 in the second frame.

Snooker League Round-Up Moorlands & Railway B and Hykeham C, the front runners in the George Barrett Snooker League, both recorded 4–2 victories, with Hykeham extending their lead at the top to eight points. Hykeham C 4–2 Lincoln Snooker Club G Hykeham C entertained Lincoln Snooker Club G and got off to a slow start, falling behind when Ollie defeated Michael 52–20. The hosts responded strongly, winning the next three frames to take control of the match. Rob levelled the scores at 1–1 with a composed 43–9 win over George, before Peter edged a competitive third frame against Josh, winning 63–44. Rob then made it two wins from two on the night, overcoming Michele 58–31. Lincoln Snooker Club pulled a frame back when Michael Stacey defeated Hykeham captain Cyril 45–22, but Steve secured the home victory in the final frame with a solid 70–45 win over Michael. Castle Ward 2–4 Moorlands & Railway B Moorlands & Railway B travelled to bottom side Castle Ward and took early control, racing into a 3–0 lead. Andy Campbell set the tone with a 58–30 win over Dan, followed by Avril’s 52–37 victory against Tim. Kev made it three in a row with a 59–37 win over Jackson. Castle Ward earned their first point when Matt defeated Phil 46–12. Moorlands captain Andy Riggall then secured the match with a close 49–38 win over Craig. Castle Ward claimed the final frame, with Matt defeating Andy 45–19. Lincoln Snooker Club H 4–2 Cube & Triangle Lincoln Snooker Club H also recorded a 4–2 home win against Cube & Triangle. Gary gave the visitors an early lead with a 59–34 win over Ray, but Clive levelled matters by defeating Karl 50–37. Cube & Triangle briefly regained the lead when Marley edged past Tom 54–43. From there, Lincoln Snooker Club took control. Ray won a tense black-ball finish against Dan, 48–41, to make it 2–2. Clive then put the hosts ahead for the first time with a dominant 66–3 win over Glynn. The final frame was closely fought, but Lincoln Snooker Club sealed the victory as Tom came from behind to defeat Dan 62–57.

The top two sides in the Billiards league met, Hykeham A and Norton Disney. Hykeham had a slender lead of just one point. Anna(-10) put Norton Disney one up when she just got home defeating Fraser (-20) by just five points winning 200-195. Rob (-800) was in great form recording the leagues highest break so far of 266 and a further break of 210 and keeping his opponent Chris(+10) away from the table winning 200-25. This win now puts Norton Disney at the top of the table by one point. Castle Ward A and Hykeham B have now drawn twelve matches between them out of 21 matches that they have played. Dean (-170) put Castle Ward one up when he defeated Steve(+40) by 200-185. The second match was again another close affair when he Dave (+40) defeated Scott (+60) 200-189, this was Scott’s first match this season. Norton Disney are now four points clear at the top of the Billiards League, with Moorlands & Railway A withdrawing from the league all their results have been deducted. Norton Disney’s latest result was a 2-0 home win over Castle Ward. Anna (-20) defeated Lee (-30) 200-80 and Rob (-800) defeated Dean (-180) 200-0 with breaks of 161,115,66 and 60. Hykeham A and B are joint second both on ten points, Hykeham B were away at Moorlands & Railway B and came away with a 2-0 win. Dan (+90) defeated Tristan (+10) 300-138 and Dave (+40) completed the victory when he defeated Leigh (+90).
