Belvedere stun league leaders at Moorlands, Newark Belvedere travelled to league leaders Moorlands & Railway C and came away with an impressive 5–2 victory. Dale got the Belvedere off to a perfect start, opening the scoring with a 64–46 win over Jamie. The home side hit back immediately as Matt Lee levelled the match in style, compiling a superb break of 92 on his way to a dominant 92–1 win against Dale. Moorlands then moved in front when Matt Lee followed up with a 62–43 victory over Adam. However, the momentum swung firmly back in Belvedere’s favour thanks to Matt Bavin, who produced two excellent wins against Gav. He claimed the first frame 75–57 before edging a tense black-ball decider 46–45. The final two frames saw Moor-lands’ Lee take on Belvedere captain Rob, but Rob finished strongly to seal the match, winning both frames convincingly, 70–11 and 58–13. Both teams now sit on 74 points, with Moorlands holding a game in hand. Lincoln Snooker Club B dominate clubmates Lincoln Snooker Club B strengthened their grip on third place in the Spec & Fix Premier League with a comprehensive 7–0 whitewash of stablemates Lincoln Snooker Club C. The match also marked the welcome return of Matt Ransome after a three-week lay-off. Calum set the tone in the opening two frames against Brian, taking the first 60–18 before edging a closer second frame 62–48. Matt Ransome then faced Matt Todd and showed no signs of rust, winning the first frame 71–10 with a break of 39, before completing the double with a 58–13 victory. Glenn continued the dominance against Nick, recording two one-sided wins, 62–7 and 56–1. The final frame saw Chris complete the clean sweep with a 69–24 win, also against Nick

Hykeham A were the big point scorers in the Lincoln Security League as they recorded a convincing 5–1 victory over their B team. The A side raced into a 3–0 lead early on. Steve set the tone with a low-scoring 34–26 win over Tristan, before Rob edged out Mark 57–48 in a close frame. Dave then extended the lead with a 41–33 victory against Darren. The B team’s only success came courtesy of Chris, who defeated Dan 43–34. Rob completed a perfect night with his second win, beating Tristan 45–15, and Dan made amends for his earlier defeat by seeing off Mark 68–43 to complete the scoring. Lincoln Snooker Club D strengthened their grip at the top of the table and now sit eleven points clear after a 4–2 away win at Castle Ward A. Phil got the visitors off to the perfect start, defeating Rob 67–25 with a break of 25. Castle Ward responded through Tim, who came from behind to win a dramatic black-ball frame 55–49 against Adam Hanson. Phil restored the Snooker Club’s lead by defeating Adam Petty 63–15, before Justin made it 3–1 with a solid 60–38 win over Castle Ward captain Rob. Stu took on the final two frames for Lincoln Snooker Club D, first beating Adam Petty 67–51 and then sealing the match with a 49–39 victory against Tim. Lincoln Academy also enjoyed success with a 4–2 win over Lincoln Snooker Club E. The Snooker Club side took the opening frame as Tim defeated Jacob 45–32, but Jacob quickly made amends in his second frame with a commanding 60–24 win over Tim. Jayden then put the Academy ahead, compiling a break of 26 in a 58–14 victory against Kai. James followed up by extending the lead with a 59–28 win, also over Kai. Jayden completed a strong night with his second win, adding a break of 30 in a narrow 51–31 success against Charlie. Charlie had the final word, finishing the night with a good 50–32 win over James. Moorlands & Railway A dealt a blow to Lincoln Snooker Club F’s promotion hopes as the sides fought out a 3–3 draw. The Snooker Club looked in control early, taking a 2–0 lead thanks to wins for Noddy and Glynn against Trev and Nathan respectively, with Glynn contributing a break of 25. Moorlands & Railway hit back strongly, winning the next three frames. Steve Lambert defeated Glenn 64–47, before Liam beat Steve Jakes 54–26. Lambert completed an unbeaten night with an impressive 58–31 win over Noddy. The final frame saw Glynn secure the draw for the Snooker Club with a 58–21 victory over Liam.

Lincoln Snooker Club G strike away from home Lincoln Snooker Club G were the only winners in the George Barrett League after claiming an excellent away victory against second-placed Moorlands & Railway B. The visitors quickly put the home side under pressure by winning the opening four frames. Oli got proceedings underway with a solid 59–34 win over Kev, before George doubled the advantage with a 56–33 victory against Andy Campbell. Oli then made it two wins from two on the night, defeating Avril 46–15. Michele completed a strong opening spell for the away side by edging a tense black-ball frame 48–44 against Phil. Ian, playing his first match of the season, made a winning return with a convincing 59–24 win over Michael. Andy Riggall then rounded off the night with another close black-ball success, beating Michael 36–33. Hykeham C held in top-of-the-table clash League leaders Hykeham C were held to a 3–3 draw by Lincoln Snooker Club H. Peter gave Hykeham the perfect start with a commanding 66–20 win over Ray. The home side responded by taking the next two frames, with Tom and Clive recording victories over Cyril and Michael respectively. Steve brought Hykeham level with a hard-fought 53–43 win against Leigh. Tom then continued his fine night by defeating Paul 39–25 to make it two wins from two. Peter matched that achievement in the final frame, securing his second win with a 57–39 victory over Clive to ensure the points were shared. Castle Ward B earn encouraging draw Castle Ward B, who sit seven points adrift, produced an encouraging performance to secure a 3–3 draw against Cube & Triangle. Gary gave Cube & Triangle an early lead with a convincing 56–14 win over Dan. Castle Ward responded well, taking the next two frames as Jackson and Matt defeated Marley and Karl respectively. Gary then claimed his second win of the night, levelling the match with a 63–21 victory over Craig. Craig made amends in the following frame, beating Marley 53–20 to put Castle Ward 3–2 ahead. The final frame saw Karl secure a share of the spoils for Cube & Triangle, defeating Dan 75–16 with a break of 25.

With league leaders Norton Disney having a bye and second placed Hykeham A and third placed Hykeham B playing each other it was an interesting fixture. Dave (+30) faced the A teams captain Chris (+20) and Dave received a ten point advantage and he maintained this lead and eventually went on to win 200-168. Fraser (+10) levelled the scores with an excellent victory over Steve (+50), with Steve having a 40 point lead Fraser gradually reduced the deficit and went on to win 200-128, with this result there was no change in the positions in the league table they have a match in hand which is against the leaders Norton Disney. Moorlands and Railway B are yet to win a match however they have only lost four matches from the ten they have played. They faced Castle Ward A and they drew for the sixth time Lee (-20)was conceding 120 points against Leigh and with a break of 43 Lee soon ate away the points and went to win 200-161. Tristan (+20) faced Nick (-80) and despite a spirited fightback from Nick Tristan went on to win 200-177. Hykeham A are the new league leaders after they defeated Moorlands & Railway B 2-0. Fraser (Scr.) put Hykeham one up when he beat Leigh (+100) 200-178. The match between Chris (+30) against Tristan (+10) was close and could of gone either way but Chris held his nerve and went onto win 200-191. They head the league by virtue of having won one more match than Norton Disney. Norton Disney remain unbeaten but they have drawn seven of the ten matches played. Their latest draw was against Hykeham B, who are only one point behind. The opening match was another close affair between Anna (-30) and Dan (+80). Anna had reduced the deficit having to give her opponent 110 start, but Dan held out to win 200-191. Rob (-800) maintained his unbeaten run compiling breaks of 130,62,94 and 118 to beat Dave (+20) 200-143. Hykeham B have now drawn eight and won two of their twelve matches played.
