After last weeks defeat at the hands of title rivals Moorlands & Railway C returned back to winning ways in the Spec & Fix Premier League. Daren made a welcomed return after a three month absents he put his team one up when he defeated Brian 50-27 and then followed that up with a 67-8 victory over Jim aided by a break of 45. Jamie made it three nil defeating Brian 70-1 with a break of 39. Gav soon made it four nil with a 61-15 win over Jim. Matt Lee then played two successive frames defeating Matt Todd 67-16 and 80-18. Lee Applewhite completed the victory also beating Matt 60-18. Belvedere Showboats recorded their fourth win over the season against third placed Lincoln Snooker Club B 5-2. The Showboats fielded a strong side with Jimmy Gillespie and the signing of Dave Thompson. Jimmy won the opening frame 70-42 against Glenn and then Dave also beat Glenn 79-27 for a two nil lead. Calum pulled one frame back defeating Joe 79-14. Dave Played his second frame of the evening when he just got the better of Calum winning 63-49. Calum played his third frame and won that 48-32 against Bryan. With the Showboats 3-2 up their opponents were unable to fulfil the remaining two frames which meant the showboats won 5-2.

The top two teams both won 4-2 so there is no change at the top of the league, The Lincoln Snooker Club D who are top of the Lincoln Security League were at home to Lincoln Snooker Academy. The leaders soon went into a two nil lead Justin opened the scoring when he defeated Jacob 52-9 and this was followed by Adam also beating Louca 62-26. The Academy side hit back and they levelled the scores through Daniel who took both frames against George 69-27 and 62-47. Justin retored the lead for the home side when he defeated his son, Jayden 46-24. Stu completed the victory when he also beat Jayden 66-3 to complete the victory. Lincoln Snooker Club F were at home against their E team. Neil put the home side one up 57-23 against Tim with the help of a 28 break. Steve made it two nil when he defeated Kai 57-8 aided by a break of 25. Charlie registered his teams first point of the night and with a break of 31 in his 72-24 win over Glenn. Steve won his second frame when he defeated Tim 49-9 for a three one lead. Glenn also won his second frame and with a break of 30 he defeated Kai 64-14. Charlie for the E side was another player to win two frames when he defeated Neil 55-26. Moorlands & Railway have now gone three games unbeaten, their best run of results in the season so far. They entertained mid table Hykeham A and came away with a 3-3 draw. The opening frame between Moorlands Trev and Hykeham Rob was a close affair which eventually was won by Rob winning on the black 53-52. Steve Robinson who is having a good season made it two nil when he defeated Nathan 51-24. The Moorlands side then took the next three frames, Liam beat Dave 62-49 and Steve Lambert defeated Gary 58-12. Josh was in good form and with a break of 40 he defeated Dan 75-8. Steve Robinson made it two wins from two when he beat John 67-43. Hykeham B have pulled well clear of their A team after a 5-1 home win over Castle Ward A. Rob put Castle Ward one up when he defeated Dave 64-44. Mike Morrison was in fine form and compiled an excellent break of 45 in his 72-8 win over Adam. Chris put Hykeham in front for the first time when he had a narrow 50-48 win over Rob. Darren made it three one and with a break of 29 in his 59-10 win against Adam. Mike made it four one with a very good 73-47 victory over Adian. With Castle Ward unable to field a player in the final frame the point went to Hykeham for a 5-1 victory.

The top of the table clash in the George Barrett Snooker League between Hykeham C and Moorlands B resulted in a 5-1 away win for the Hykeham team. Peter got the night underway when he defeated Andy Campbell 64-34. Rob made it 2-0 when he just got the better of Andy Riggall. Kev was the lone winner for the Moorlands when he defeated Stev 41-19. Rob won his second frame when he inflicted a 56-14 win against Kev. Cyril increased the lead for Hykeham when he won 46-10 against Avril and Peter won his second frame 60-39 against Andy Riggall. Hykeham have now got a 14 point lead. The two bottom sides met at Castle Ward and it was the home side who were the victors. Ken put the Castle Ward side 2-0 up firstly defeating Ray 61-27 and the he beat Leigh 69-22. Craig made it 3-0 when he just got the better of Tom 43-32. Matt made sure of a home team win when he played very well defeating Clive 45-29. Craig won his second frame of the evening when he beat Tom for the second time 49-33. The final frame saw a re-match between Matt and Clive and this time Clive won 49-39. The final fixture between Lincoln Snooker Club G and The Cube & Triangle resulted in a 3-3 draw. The opening two frames were shared with the Cube’s Gary taking the first frame 49-12 against Ollie. Jared returned after nearly three months and he levelled the scores defeating Karl 54-43. Karl put the Cube & Triangle back in front with a comfortable 51-8 win over Ollie and Dan increased the lead when he beat Jared 57-36. the reliable Mark pulled a frame back for the Lincoln Snooker Club when he defeated Marley 59-13 and the comeback was completed when Michele beat Dan 45-17 for a share of the spoils.

Rob (-800) continues his good form with his 13th century so far this season. His opponent Tristan (+20) pushed Rob all the way and it took an unbeaten 105 break to get over the finishing line winning 200-196. Anna (-20) made it a one, two for the married couple when she defeated Leigh (+100) 200-162. Norton Disney head the league by one point. Hykeham A faced a tricky away tie away at Castle Ward. Nick (-70) won a close game 200-182 against Fraser (-10) winning 200-182. Chris (+20) levelled the scores with an excellent victory defeating Dean (-170) 200-10.
