Lincoln Snooker Club B delivered a dominant performance this week, securing an impressive 6–1 home victory over the Showboats and continuing to close the gap on second-placed Belvedere Club in the Spec & Fix Premier League. Glenn set the tone early with a flawless start, winning all three of his frames in convincing fashion. He opened with a 59–14 win over Bradley, compiling a solid break of 48. The pair met again in the second frame, where Glenn repeated his dominance with a 64–22 victory. He then completed his hat-trick of wins by defeating Joe 67–24 in a similarly controlled performance. Calum maintained the momentum, remaining unbeaten on the night. He first overcame Joe 59–28 before following up with a 57–31 win against Harry, keeping Lincoln firmly in command. Chris extended the lead to 6–0 with a comfortable 57–33 win over Harry. However, Bradley managed to salvage a point for the Showboats in the final frame, edging past Chris in a tight contest that went down to the black, finishing 47–43. Overall, a strong all-round display from Lincoln Snooker Club B as they continue their push up the table.

Hykeham A inflicted only the fourth defeat of the season on league leaders Lincoln Snooker Club D with an impressive performance. Hykeham raced into a 3–0 lead. Rob opened the scoring with a solid 67–32 win over George. Dave doubled the advantage, compiling a break of 26 to come from behind and edge past George on the black, 54–53. Dan then made it three with a convincing 64–33 victory over Adam. Justin pulled a frame back for Lincoln Snooker Club D with a narrow 61–51 win against Gary. However, Hykeham sealed the match in the next frame as Rob came from behind to defeat Stu on the black, 61–60. The final frame was another tight contest, with Justin again coming from behind to beat Gary 56–52, making the final score 4–2 to Hykeham A, despite the result other results on the night meant that the league leaders are now league champions with three games to spare, well done chaps. Hykeham B close gap on second place Second-placed Lincoln Snooker Club F have hit a poor run of form, suffering their third consecutive defeat, this time against nearest rivals Hykeham B. Darren gave Hykeham the perfect start with a 49–15 win over Noddy, and Michael extended the lead to 2–0 by defeating Steve 60–25. John, playing back-to-back frames for the Snooker Club, got his side on the board with a 56–34 win over Mark. However, Chris responded for Hykeham with a convincing 57–13 victory over John. Darren secured his second win of the night, beating Steve 52–20 to guarantee the match. Michael then completed a dominant performance with a break of 39 in a 62–28 win over Noddy, sealing a 5–1 away victory. Hykeham B now sit just three points behind second place. Moorlands & Railway A claim away win Moorlands & Railway A recorded their fourth win of the season with a 4–2 away victory over Lincoln Snooker Club E. Tim gave the home side an early lead, defeating Josh 49–30. Moorlands responded strongly, taking the next three frames. Steve beat Mark 70–48, Nathan overcame Kai 55–31, and Leam extended the lead to 3–1 with a 76–33 win over Tim. Mark pulled one back for the home side with a 54–10 win against John, but Josh secured the victory for Moorlands with a low-scoring 34–15 win over Kai. Castle Ward A secure solid home victory Castle Ward A produced a strong home performance to beat Lincoln Snooker Academy 4–2. They stormed into a 3–0 lead, with Tim defeating Daniel 60–27, followed by Rob’s 80–50 win over Daniel. Adam then extended the lead with a 50–26 victory over newcomer Paul. Paul got a frame back for the visitors, edging past Tim 43–36. Rob then ensured the win for Castle Ward with a convincing 73–42 victory over Jayden. Jayden took the final frame in style, compiling a break of 34 in a 78–32 win over Adam to make the final scoreline 4–2.

The top two sides in the Coutts Cue League, Moorlands & Railway B and Hykeham C, met at the Newark Road venue. Andy Campbell gave the home side the perfect start, defeating Pete 57–48 to put Moorlands & Railway B 1–0 ahead. Hykeham’s captain Cyril quickly responded, comfortably beating Avril 44–15 to level the match. Scott, who has been in excellent form—losing just two of his twenty frames in the second half of the season—continued his run with a convincing 59–20 victory over Mick. Steve then drew Hykeham level once again with a solid 51–16 win against Kev. Hykeham took the lead for the first time on the night when Rob defeated Andy Campbell 59–23. In the final frame, Pete secured his second win of the evening with a 60–24 victory over Andy Riggall, sealing the result for Hykeham. They now require four points from their remaining four matches to clinch the league title.At the Kingsley Street Club, the league’s bottom two sides faced off. Craig put Castle Ward ahead with a dramatic comeback win over Ray, taking the frame on the black 53–52. Clive levelled for Lincoln Snooker Club, beating Dan 57–46. Castle Ward’s most consistent perform-er, Matt, produced a dominant display to defeat Leigh 65–1. Craig then claimed his second win of the evening with a 48–36 victory over Tom. Tom improved in his second outing, securing a 35–7 win against Jackson. However, in the final frame, Matt edged past Clive 57–46 to secure the match. Both teams are now level on 64 points, although Lincoln Snooker Club hold the ad-vantage, having won two more matches than Castle Ward.Lincoln Snooker Club G extended their lead over fourth-placed Cube & Triangle with a 4–2 victory. Cube & Triangle started strongly, racing into a 2–0 lead as Karl beat Cheeky 58–14, followed by Gay’s 65–30 win, also against Cheeky. Gibbo pulled one back for Lincoln with a 52–21 win over Dan, before George levelled the match with a 54–20 victory against Marley. Gibbo then put Lincoln ahead, coming from behind to win a tense black-ball decider 58–55 against Dan. The comeback was completed when George comfortably beat Marley 58–18 to secure the win

Norton Disney and Rob have remained unbeaten for this season, Rob winning all his sixteen matches and with a handicap of minus 800, and a mention to Anna for her first full season. Rob also recorded 47 breaks over 35 which included 19 century plus breaks. Mark won all three matches he played this season for the Moorlands & Railway. Mark (+40) faced Anna (Scratch) in the first match and the handicap was just about the difference Mark winning 200-142. Rob (-800) faced Tristan (+30) and with breaks of 165, 131,78 and 68 plus several other smaller breaks Rob went on to win 200-162. Congratulations to Hykeham A, they finished in second place and they only lost two matches all season. Fraser (Scratch) as had a good season and he rounded it off when he defeated Nick (-70) 200-123. The final match of the season between Chris (-20) and Lee (-20) couldn't have been any closer, both players playing of the same handicap and it was an inspired break of 53 from Chris was the main factor with Chris taking the match 200-199
