The John Stobie Trophy 2026

Congratulations to Dale Schofield, winner of the John Stobie Trophy 2026.

A fantastic day of snooker was enjoyed by all at Newark Belvedere Club on Saturday, with a full field of 16 players and some excellent performances throughout the competition.

Dale claimed the title for the first time and also recorded the highest break of the day, a superb 78 in his opening-round match against Phil Cross. He then went on to defeat Justin Hunt 3–2, Dave Jobling 3–1, and edged out Matt Lee 3–2 in a closely fought final.

The Plate Competition was won by James Lilley, who produced strong performances to beat Ben Rickards, Glenn Foster, and Stu Cannings.
