The two sides, Moorlands and Railway C, met at the Newark Club, and it was Moorlands who came away with a good victory. Moorlands captain Daren put his side one up when he beat Matt Bavin 58–17. The same two players met in the second frame and this time it was Matt who had the upper hand; with a break of 35 he won 73–21. Matt played his third frame of the evening and came from behind to beat Jamie on the black, winning 70–60. Adam and Gav played the next two frames and victory went to the away player, Gav, who won them both 63–18 and 69–9, compiling a break of 53 in the second frame. Dave, for the Newark side, played the last two frames, both against Matt Lee. Matt just got the better of Dave in the first, winning 57–48, and then in the second frame Matt recorded a break of 62 in his 73–26 victory. Moorlands now have a nine-point lead and a game in hand over the Newark side. The two Lincoln Snooker Club sides also met in the Spec & Fix Premier League. The two Matts played the opening frame and it was Matt Ransome, for the B team, who defeated Matt Todd 62–0 with the aid of a 45 break. Paul levelled the scores when he defeated Matt Ransome 58–36. Calum played the next two frames for the C team, firstly defeating Brian 66–13 with a break of 47, and then following that up with a 70–7 win over Matt Todd to give the C team a 3–1 lead. The B team hit back and soon levelled the scores. Firstly Paul beat Glenn 64–17 and then Brian also beat Glenn 59–12. The final frame saw Matt Todd play his third frame of the night. Unfortunately it was a hat-trick of defeats for him, as his opponent Chris won 53–13. Division One Snooker League
The top two sides in the Lincoln Security Snooker League met and could not be separated as they played out a 3-3 draw. Phil opened the scoring for the league leaders, Lincoln Snooker Club D, when he beat John Griffiths 66-27. Lincoln Snooker Club F hit back and took a 2-1 lead. Glynn levelled the scores by defeating George 71-45, and Glenn then put his side in front with a 47-7 victory over Adam. The D team responded by taking the next two frames. Stu beat Steve 43-32 to level the match, before Justin put his side ahead when he defeated Glenn 62-12. The final frame saw Glynn defeat Phil 65-37 to ensure the points were shared. Lincoln Snooker Club D now hold a nine-point lead at the top of the table. Hykeham A recorded their best win of the season so far when they whitewashed Lincoln Snooker Academy 6-0. Rob opened the scoring for Hykeham when he beat Jacob 47-30. Rob then played Jayden and came from behind to win a black-ball frame 56-53. Gary played two successive frames, first beating Jacob 63-49 and then defeating Daniel 56-16. Dan also played two frames back-to-back, producing an excellent performance to beat Jayden 69-26 before winning another black-ball frame 67-60 against Daniel. Hykeham B are now seven points behind the second-placed team after winning 4-2 at home against Moorlands & Railway A. Darren put Hykeham ahead when he beat Josh 62-51. Steve levelled the match for Moorlands by defeating Mark 65-38. Dave restored Hykeham’s lead with a 50-36 victory over Nathan, but Liam again levelled the scores for Moorlands with a good 58-31 win against Mike. Darren then won his second frame 64-18 against John, and the final frame saw Mike edge past Steve 65-45. Despite the defeat, Moorlands & Railway A have moved off the bottom of the table, with Lincoln Snooker Club E replacing them. Castle Ward A recorded a 6-0 win without lifting a cue after their opponents, Lincoln Snooker Club E, were unable to field a team.

Hykeham C, under the guidance of captain Cyril, recorded their fourth whitewash of the season and now need just twelve points to secure the Coutts Cues League Division 2 title for the 2025–26 season. Their latest victory came against Lincoln Snooker Club H. Peter started the evening and continued his remarkable run of form. Hykeham’s most consistent player has now won 32 of his 37 frames this season. His latest opponent was Ray, but Peter proved too strong on the night, taking the frame 62–34. Hykeham captain Cyril made it 2–0 when he defeated Leigh 54–14. Rob then produced a strong performance against Clive, winning 51–37, before Steve secured the overall victory for Hykeham by beating Ray 45–15. Michael extended the lead to 5–0 with a 47–17 win over Leigh, and the final frame of the evening saw Peter finish in style. He compiled a break of 28 during a convincing 76–15 victory against Clive. Hykeham’s strength in depth is evident, with five of their players currently sitting inside the top fifteen of the league averages table. The second- and third-placed teams, Moorlands & Railway B and Lincoln Snooker Club G, met at the St Peter at Arches Club. With just six points separating the sides, the match ended in a closely contested 3–3 draw. Moorlands started strongly and raced into a 2–0 lead. Kev won the opening frame 52–28 against Ollie, while Duncan defeated Michele 59–18. Ollie got Lincoln Snooker Club on the scoreboard when he beat Avril 48–25. Andy Campbell restored Moorlands’ two-frame advantage with a 48–26 victory over Michele. George then played the final two frames for Lincoln Snooker Club. He first defeated Phil 39–28, before beating Moorlands captain Andy Riggall 61–42, earning his team a well-deserved share of the spoils. The Cube & Triangle finally returned to winning ways after going twelve matches without a victory, six of which had ended in draws. Karl put the Cube ahead by defeating Jackson 60–24, and Dan Chambers doubled the lead with a 62–32 win over Craig. Matt pulled a frame back for Castle Ward, beating Marley 39–11. Gary restored the two-frame advantage with an emphatic 64–10 win over Dan Neale. Marley and Jackson contested the fifth frame in a tight battle that went down to the final black, with Jackson edging it 58–54. The final frame was more straightforward as Gary completed a fine night’s work, beating Craig 58–18 to seal a 4–2 victory for Cube & Triangle. Despite the defeat, Castle Ward have closed the gap to just two points on the team above them, Lincoln Snooker Club H. The two sides are set to face each other next week in what could prove to be a crucial match in the standings.

Norton Disney need just one point from their remaining match which is against bottom side Moorlands & Railway B and the big handicaps could be a factor. Their latest result was a 1-1 draw with Hykeham B. The opening frame between Steve (+50) and Anna (-10) couldn't have been any closer with Steve pipping Anna by one point winning 200-199. A big shout out to Anna who is now ranked number one on the Woman's World tour. Rob (-800) fresh from winning his fifth EPSB National Championship when he defeated Peter Sheeham. In the league Rob remains unbeaten with fifteen wins from fifteen his latest win was against Dave (+30) and Rob soon ate away the handicap with breaks of 96,72 and 69 winning 200-183. Nevertheless a good performance from all four players. Moorlands & Railway B for their first season can be pleased with their performances and gain experience from this despite not winning a match. They have now drawn eight of their fifteen matches however they were so close to winning their first match when they drew 1-1 with second placed Hykeham A. Leigh (+100) had a 110 start against Chris (-10) and the experienced Chris held his nerve to win 200-198, well played Leigh and Chris. Mark (+50) playing only his second game of the season has made two wins from two when he defeated Fraser (Scr.) 200-139. Hykeham A play Castle Ward and Norton Disney face Moorlands & Railway. .
